Beverley Extension Project

Validus Construction was appointed to deliver the groundworks, masonry, and landscaping package for a stunning new sunroom extension in Beverley, working in collaboration with Oak By Design. Following completion of the external structure, we returned to undertake all associated internal finishes, including mechanical, electrical, and plastering works.

The objective was to create a high-quality, thermally efficient extension that blended seamlessly with the existing property while enhancing both internal living space and the usability of the surrounding external areas.

The project began with a comprehensive groundworks to prepare the site for the new sunroom installation. This included excavation, foundation preparation, and ensuring all levels were set precisely in accordance with design specifications.

Attention to detail at this stage was critical to ensure structural integrity and long-term performance, particularly in achieving thermal efficiency and preventing future settlement.

Once the groundwork phase was complete, our team constructed the required masonry elements to form the structural base for Oak By Design’s sunroom installation. All brickwork was carefully matched to the existing property to ensure a cohesive appearance.

The masonry was delivered with precision to guarantee accurate tolerances for the specialist sunroom framework, ensuring a flawless fit and seamless integration.

Alongside the structural works, landscaping improvements were carried out to enhance the external environment surrounding the extension. The aim was to create a natural transition between the new sunroom and the garden space, improving accessibility and overall usability.

The result was a refined outdoor area that complements the extension and maximises enjoyment of the property year-round.

Following completion of the external shell, Validus returned to carry out the internal fit-out works.

This included:

  • Installation of mechanical and electrical services.

  • Preparation and plastering of internal surfaces.

  • Finishing works to create a clean, high-quality interior ready for final decoration.

Careful coordination of trades ensured the extension met modern performance standards while maintaining a premium finish throughout.
